How the job runs

A Retrofit Schedule You Can Hand To Operations

  1. 01

    Survey

    Matt checks fitting count, ceiling height, access, working hours, emergency lighting and any areas that cannot be shut down.

  2. 02

    Quote

    You receive a written quote within 2 working days for sites under 150 fittings, or within 5 working days for larger premises.

  3. 03

    Schedule

    The product schedule, datasheets, RAMS, waste route and installation sequence are agreed before anyone arrives with steps.

  4. 04

    Install

    Most shops, offices and small workshops finish in 1 day. Warehouses and production areas usually take 2 to 5 days or nights.

  5. 05

    Remove Waste

    Old fluorescent tubes, lamps and fittings are removed from site and sent through a licensed WEEE route.

  6. 06

    Check Light

    Light levels are checked after installation so the finished job is more than a box of fittings on a ceiling.

Matt Renshaw founded The Lite Way in 2024 after fifteen years working on commercial electrical maintenance and energy-saving refits around the North West. I am proud of a small Warrington packaging unit where thirty-two failing fluorescent battens were changed over a Friday evening. By midnight the forklift lanes looked cleaner. On Monday the supervisor sent me a photo because the pickers had stopped bringing their own torches.

Normal travel radius is 35 miles from Warrington town centre, covering Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and parts of North Wales.

Larger projects are considered up to 60 miles when the fitting count, access and programme make sense.

  • Typical survey lead time is 3 to 7 working days from first email.
  • Saturday surveys are by appointment between 8:00am and 12:00pm.
  • Minimum installed order is £750 + VAT or 12 fittings, whichever is higher.
