LED retrofit work

Changing The Fittings, Not Turning Your Building Into A Rewire

The Lite Way replaces tired commercial lighting with specified LED fittings. The work is aimed at facilities managers and site owners who need better light, lower running cost and a tidy installation around occupied premises.

Fitting types

Commercial Fittings We Handle Week In, Week Out

01

LED Panels

600 by 600 and 1200 by 300 panels for offices, schools, surgeries and retail back offices.

02

Battens

Single and twin fluorescent battens in workshops, stores, plant rooms and loading bays.

03

High Bays

Warehouse and production high bays, priced with mounting height, access equipment and control needs clear from the start.

04

Low Bays

Lower industrial lighting where glare, spread and working tasks matter more than headline wattage.

05

Emergency Fittings

Replacement or upgrade fittings with basic function test, asset label and practical advice on obvious gaps.

06

Controls And Sensors

Simple presence detection and controls where they suit the space rather than making the installation awkward to use.

Workplaces

Built For Places That Still Need To Operate

Warehouses

High-bay replacement, forklift route planning, scissor lift access and phased aisle shutdowns.

Offices

Panel swaps, meeting rooms, corridors and occupied floor plates worked around desks and staff hours.

Workshops

Dusty, awkward and high-use areas where failed tubes usually get left until the light is poor everywhere.

Retail units

Sales floor, stockroom and staff area lighting changed without presenting the job like a shopfit.

Schools and surgeries

Short programme windows, datasheets before work starts and tidy areas handed back each day.

Landlord communal areas

Corridors, stairwells, small car park stores and shared service spaces for commercial landlords.

Access and disruption

The Price Changes When Access Changes, So We Check It Early

  1. 01

    Ladders And Podiums

Normal office and low workshop work is planned around safe access, furniture movement and keeping escape routes clear.

  2. 02

    Scissor Lift Hire

High bays and taller production spaces are surveyed for lift suitability, floor condition and whether aisles can be released.

  3. 03

    Out-Of-Hours Work

Evening or weekend installation is quoted at 1.35x standard labour after survey where disruption costs more than the uplift.

  4. 04

    Fire Routes

Materials, old fittings and access equipment are kept out of fire routes and live working areas are agreed before the job starts.

Compliance notes

The Paperwork Is Plain Because You May Need To File It

  • Emergency lighting upgrades include a basic function test and asset label.
  • Old fluorescent tubes, lamps and fittings are removed through a licensed WEEE route.
  • Product datasheets, warranties, RAMS and waste transfer notes are provided before work starts when required.
  • Insurance details are provided before work starts when required.
  • The company is deliberately small: Matt surveys the job, prices it, and fits it himself or brings in two regular approved electricians for larger sites.
